For 2 weeks before the Easter break the children took part in all kinds of eggciting activities. They made baskets to keep their eggs in, decorated cards and Easter eggs, learnt about the life cycle of a chicken, cooked chocolate nest cakes and made their own nests in shredded paper.We all enjoyed playing with 'Chick World' here you can see them at the beach.
However most exciting of all was a visit from a real chicken called Gabriella. She was a bit
scared but let us stroke her gently.
Our Easter Bonnet Parade was a delight to see. No two hats were the same and they were all beautiful. One even had an Easter Shark on it.
